Where the studio was born
Tattoos From The Soul opened in a converted apothecary, candles still on the shelves, the air heavy with intention. What began as one artist's late-night ritual quickly became a sanctuary for people carrying stories too heavy for skin to hold silently.
We never wanted to be the loudest studio. We wanted to be the truest one, the place where the needle meets nervous systems and somehow, gently, helps them land back in their bodies.

Soul Before Skin
We begin every session with a conversation, listening for the feeling beneath the request before a single line is drawn.
Ritual, Not Rush
Sessions move at the pace of breath. We honor the body, the story, and the long arc of a life well marked.
Lineage of Care
Apprenticed in fine line, dotwork, and ceremonial tattooing, our practice is rooted in craft and the slow passing of knowledge.
A tattoo should feel like remembering something you always knew, not adding something new.

The artist lineage
Our collective trained under old-world mentors in Oaxaca, Lisbon, and Brooklyn before finding one another here. We carry fine line traditions, hand-poke ceremony, and botanical symbolism like heirlooms in a pocket.
Each artist holds private practice hours, sketching by candlelight, studying the way a fern unfurls, the way a scar settles. The work that arrives on your body has been composted through care long before it meets your skin.
